Design-Thinking - Empathize. Define. Ideate. Develop. Implement.

Framework

EDIDI

The five phases of the Growth Diamond Model - Empathize, Define, Ideate, Develop, and Implement.

EDIDI is the execution spine of the Growth Diamond Model. Each phase has distinct tools and outputs:

  • Empathize - understand users and pain points
  • Define - converge on problem statements and success criteria
  • Ideate - generate and evaluate solution options
  • Develop - prototype, test, and build
  • Implement - launch, adopt, and iterate in market

Unlike a linear checklist, teams loop back when learning demands it - especially between Develop and Implement.
